Tragic Incident in Yerevan: 2 Citizens Fall from Balcony Carelessly

On July 14, a tragic incident occurred in Yerevan. Around 23:50, the Kanaker-Zeytun Police Department received a call from the Mikayelyan Surgical Institute reporting that two citizens were brought in with diagnoses of "acute condition, catastrophic trauma" and "polytrauma," one of whom passed away.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, a police operational group headed by an investigator from the investigative department has been dispatched to the hospital.

It was revealed that the deceased was 46-year-old Aram G., a citizen of the Russian Federation who was temporarily residing at the Tufenkian hotel complex in Yerevan, while the injured party was 18-year-old Raphael Sh. from Yerevan. Police determined that the incident occurred at around 22:00 on the same day, when the individuals were at a relative's house on Kanaker 9th street, where they were on the balcony. Leaning against a metal part, it broke off, causing them to fall.

Materials are being prepared in the Kanaker-Zeytun Police Department regarding the incident. Several examinations have been appointed, including a forensic examination of the body.
