As Tert.am previously reported, the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations has released footage from the site of the An-26 plane crash in Kamchatka. Based on the location of the wreckage, the aircraft collided with a rock and fell into the water. There were 28 people on board, including a child, and preliminary data indicates that no one survived.
The An-26 aircraft, which was operating a flight from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky to the village of Palana, lost communication at the designated time. Possible causes of the An-26 crash could include strong winds, technical failure, or pilot error. A criminal case has been initiated.
