Tense Situation in Law Enforcement: What is the Reason?
According to information from "Iravunk," there is a tense situation prevailing in the law enforcement system. The issue is that participants of the 44-day Artsakh war are being refused entry in their military records, stating that they took part in the war, and this is creating problems even for the wounded regarding the establishment of disability status.
It is reminded that during the war, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, who fancied himself as the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, called for the formation of volunteer squads to carry out the work of protecting the rights of the Armenian people. After that, voluntary but mandatory squads were also formed from the law enforcement system.
But lo and behold, at that time, it was threatened that criminal cases would be initiated against those who did not go to war, and now it is said that no one had the right to leave their service in the law enforcement system and go to war. Therefore, to avoid problems, it is better not to mention participation in the war in the military records.
This entire absurd theater could seem laughable if the victims of the situation did not have health issues and need to be acknowledged as participants in the war, especially since they did not go secretly, nor voluntarily, but rather out of obligation,” writes the newspaper.
