Incident Actually Occurred on May 17, 2021: Ministry of Defense Responds to Viral Video

The Ministry of Defense of Armenia reports that, following an analysis of a video disseminated by Azerbaijani users on social media featuring Armenian and Azerbaijani soldiers, it has been established that the incident actually took place on May 17, 2021, in the eastern section of the Armenia-Azerbaijan border.

The ministry announces that a service investigation has been initiated regarding the incident. The Ministry of Defense will pursue the clarification of all circumstances and the application of relevant legal consequences.
