Defense Minister Presents Recent Developments in Syunik to Kazakh Ambassador

Vagharshak Harutyunyan congratulated Bolat Imanbayev on the occasion of taking up the position of head of the diplomatic mission, wishing him success in his responsible position. The Acting Minister of Defense of Armenia expressed confidence that the ambassador's active and effective work will contribute to strengthening bilateral relations and political dialogue between Armenia and Kazakhstan.

Harutyunyan briefed Imanbayev on the situation in the region and the circumstances created as a result of Azerbaijani forces invading Armenia's sovereign territory, presenting the developments of recent days.

The interlocutors emphasized the efforts made within the framework of the CSTO towards resolving the situation and exchanged views on various issues of international and regional security.

During the meeting, matters regarding Armenian-Kazakh cooperation in the field of defense and ways to further develop cooperation were discussed, as well as the progress of planned activities in a multilateral format.
