Returning from the Frontlines of Verin Shorzha: Daniel Ioannisyan

Daniel Ioannisyan, founder of the Civil Society Institute and member of the Public Council, wrote on his Facebook page: “I am returning from the frontlines of Verin Shorzha. The Armed Forces of Armenia are monitoring the situation and have a significant advantage over the Azerbaijani units that have entered the territory of the Republic of Armenia.

The main purpose of my visit was to provide moral support to the soldiers at the positions and to bring food that sweetens life a little.

I urge all of you to restore the support that our troops had during the war. The soldier standing on the front line must know that we love him, that we care about him, and that we are maintaining a strong rear. It is that soldier who is currently ensuring our safety, not the CSTO.

P.S. Anyone who has a dear soldier there should know that the morale of the troops is high.”
