Who Will Lead R. Kocharian's 'Armenia' Alliance Central Headquarters
Political parties participating in the parliamentary snap elections are currently busy forming their election headquarters. According to various sources, the central headquarters of the 'Armenia' alliance, led by the second President of Armenia Robert Kocharian, will be headed by former Deputy Prime Minister Armen Gevorgyan.
NEWS.am inquired from the head of the second president's office whether the reports were true. “Yes, Mr. Gevorgyan is already fulfilling the functions of the central headquarters chief. Unfortunately, he is a bit unwell and is currently working from the hospital or home. But I hope he will recover very soon and fully resume his duties,” said Mr. Solomonian, adding, “I want to take this opportunity to inform you that Mr. Aram Vardevanyan will be carrying out the functions of the official representative of the 'Armenia' alliance, and in two or three days, anyone who has questions regarding the headquarters or the activities of the Alliance will be able to direct their inquiries to both the official representative of the 'Armenia' alliance and the press service.”
Victor Solomonian also noted that in the coming days, the central headquarters of the 'Armenia' alliance will publish phone numbers and email addresses, which will assist media and anyone seeking information about the activities of the 'Armenia' alliance.
