Meeting of the Security Council Under the Leadership of Pashinyan Currently Taking Place

A meeting of the Security Council is taking place under the leadership of Acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. This information was disseminated via the Government's Telegram channel.

It is noteworthy that earlier today, information spread stating that Azerbaijan had advanced about 3 km towards the Syunik direction, entering Armenian territory near Ishkhanasar.

The Ministry of Defense of Armenia issued a statement indicating that in the early morning hours of May 12, Azerbaijani armed forces attempted to carry out certain activities in one of the border areas of Syunik under the pretext of "border delimitation." The statement noted that "following measures taken by Armenian units, Azerbaijani soldiers halted these activities. Currently, negotiations are underway to resolve the situation."
