Israeli Army Declares Neutralization of Key Hamas Figures

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) has announced that it has neutralized key figures within the Palestinian Hamas movement. This information was reported by RIA Novosti.

The neutralization operation was carried out by the air force. The IDF's press service indicated that among those killed are Hassan Kaoujine, the head of Hamas's military intelligence security division, and his deputy, Walid Issan, who was involved in counter-intelligence.

It is noteworthy that earlier, the military wing of the Hamas movement, the Al Qassam Brigades, had launched hundreds of rockets toward Israel. Representatives of the movement emphasized that the escalation in shelling is related to strikes aimed at residential buildings in Palestine.
