Putin and Aliyev Hold Phone Conversation

The Presidents of Russia and Azerbaijan, Vladimir Putin and Ilham Aliyev, have confirmed their willingness to enhance cooperation during a phone conversation, agreeing on communications at various levels, according to a statement from the Kremlin's press service.

During the phone call, Putin and Aliyev warmly congratulated each other on the occasion of the 76th anniversary of the Great Patriotic War victory, noting that both countries honor the memory of the heroes of the freedom fighters and are deeply grateful to the veterans who displayed extraordinary courage and dedication.

The message stated: “The mutual willingness to establish multifaceted Russian-Azerbaijani cooperation has been confirmed. An agreement has been reached regarding further communications at various levels.”
