Video: Opposition MPs Attend Just to Collect Salary, Then Leave – Ruben Rubinyan Addresses the NA Speaker
Mr. Mirzoyan, I have a question for you. For a long time now, representatives of our two opposition factions have not been attending the meetings of the National Assembly council, and at best, they come to the plenary sessions, register as present just to collect their salary, and then leave.
This was stated by Ruben Rubinyan, a member of the 'My Step' faction, during a special session of the National Assembly, addressing the NA Speaker Ararat Mirzoyan.
“It seems they have not declared a political boycott, and it would not be logical to do so because they register. Do you have any information on where our opposition is regularly disappearing to?” he asked.
Ararat Mirzoyan responded, “No.”
