The meetings between the three presidents of Armenia had political objectives; they claimed to meet for Artsakh, but it turns out they met to adjust the list. This was stated by the Secretary of the Security Council, Armen Grigoryan, during a conversation with journalists.

Commenting on the proposal of Armenia's first president Levon Ter-Petrosyan to Robert Kocharyan and Serzh Sargsyan to unite in the upcoming elections, Grigoryan noted that it is the people who will evaluate them in the upcoming elections and added that in 2018, the public had already given them an evaluation.

“It is interesting that such a meeting format took place during the war, and they wanted to make some joint initiative. If you recall, at that time and afterward, they blamed the Prime Minister, saying that he was the one responsible for their collaboration not succeeding. I believe the issue is not with any individual but with them and their failures,” Grigoryan stated.
