VIDEO: Syunik Residents Greet Nikol Pashinyan with Insults

A tense situation has arisen in the Syunik province, where citizens are holding a protest by blocking the road leading to the square and chanting "Nikol the traitor, Nikol the Turk." 

To control the protest, police, special forces, and National Security Service officers have arrived to attempt to disperse the crowd and clear the road for Nikol Pashinyan, who aims to reach the square.

The citizens are concerned that the road leading to Azerbaijan, which is yet to be constructed, will pass directly through Meghri.

It is noteworthy that Nikol Pashinyan traveled to the Syunik province yesterday in the latter part of the day. Reportedly, information regarding the visit was kept highly confidential, and security forces learned about it only shortly before it occurred.
