84-Year-Old Woman Dies in Fire in Voskewaz Village

A tragic incident occurred today, April 7, in Voskewaz village of the Aragatsotn Province. According to reports from the Ministry of Emergency Situations, an elderly citizen was burned in a fire that broke out in a garden adjacent to one of the village's houses.

The emergency services received a call about the fire at 16:09. The fire was later extinguished, having consumed approximately 1000 square meters of grass cover and damaging some grapevines due to the heat.

Rescue teams transported the charred body of H.K. (born in 1937) to the ambulance. Reports from Shamshyan.com confirm that the deceased is a woman. According to the website, the cause of Haykanush K.'s death was related to the burning of dry grass.
