VIDEO: Bazum Police Discover Illegal Weapons and Ammunition

On March 16, the criminal investigators of the Bazum division of the Vanadzor City Police received operational information that a 60-year-old man from Vanadzor was storing illegal weapons and ammunition in his house and auxiliary structures. This was reported by the Public Relations and Information Department of the Police of the Republic of Armenia.

Appropriate measures were taken to verify the information, and on March 19, based on a decision of the Lori regional court, a search was conducted. The man presented a double-barreled shotgun and 18 cartridges, while a pistol-like object was found in a drawer of the workshop table.

The man stated that both the presented weapon and the discovered object belonged to his father. A forensic examination has been appointed, and circumstances are being clarified.
