Video: 18 and 21-Year-Old Residents of Echmiadzin Assault and Stab Father and Son; They Have Been Arrested

On March 19, around 2 AM, the police department of Vagharshapat received a report from a hospital that two residents, aged 40 and 18, were seeking medical assistance for bodily injuries. The father was admitted with stab wounds to the waist, while the son had a chest contusion.

Thanks to the diligent work of law enforcement, the crime was uncovered just hours after the report. Criminal investigators received information that during a dispute in Echmiadzin’s Navasar Street, the victims were assaulted by two residents aged 18 and 21, with the 18-year-old allegedly stabbing the 40-year-old man.

The suspect was located the same day on Baghramyan Street in Echmiadzin and was taken into custody by the Vagharshapat police. He has been arrested. A forensic examination has been ordered, and measures are being taken to clarify the circumstances of the incident. The preliminary investigation into the criminal case is ongoing.
