Gunshots in Vanadzor: 'Baksor Samo' Hospitalized with Injuries

Gunshots were heard a short time ago in the Lori region, with a civilian being transported to the Vanadzor Medical Center with gunshot wounds, reports shamshyan.com.

According to the source, doctors at the hospital have informed the police that the victim is in extremely serious condition and is unable to provide explanations about the incident.

While doctors are fighting for the victim's life, police and investigators in the Lori region have determined that the victim, who has multiple gunshot wounds on his body and head, was brought to the hospital from the building located at 11 Tumanyan Street in Vanadzor.

The source also reports that police officers, forensic experts, and investigators are currently conducting an examination of the crime scene, where traces of gunfire and blood have been discovered.

A criminal case has been initiated at the Lori Regional Investigative Department under Part 1 of Article 34-104 of the RA Criminal Code, taking into account the degree of danger posed by the crime. The prosecutor of the Lori region has also arrived at the scene.

The victim is Samvel Matevosyan, known in Vanadzor as 'Baksor Samo', according to the report.
