VIDEO: The Case of Pickpocketing from a Minibus Has Been Solved
On January 27, around noon, a nurse reported to the Erebuni Police Department that her wallet had been stolen about an hour earlier while she was on a minibus. Besides cash, the thief also took her identification and bank cards.
The police department's division fighting pickpocketing in Yerevan quickly initiated an investigation. Operative-search measures by specialized officers yielded results just half an hour after the report.
A 32-year-old man was detained on suspicion of the theft from Artsakh Avenue in the capital. The resident of Arshaluyz village in the Armavir region confessed to the crime.
Thanks to the rapid actions of the police, the stolen items were fully recovered and returned to the owner.
