Returned Citizens from Captivity Plan to Appeal to International Courts

The newspaper 'Zhamanak' reports that the citizens who returned from captivity after the trilateral statement on November 9 are planning to appeal to international forums demanding compensation for their confiscated property.

The Azerbaijani side had detained the Armenian citizens on the Goris-Stepanakert highway using their personal vehicles, which remain under Azerbaijani control. The returning citizens are unable to appeal to Azerbaijan, and Armenian state bodies are also not planning to compensate for the damages incurred. The only remaining option is to protect their property rights on international platforms.
