In Ijevan, preparations are underway to 'welcome' Vazgen Manukyan

According to the 'Zhoghovurd' newspaper, preparations are already underway in the Tavush region to 'welcome' Vazgen Manukyan, the leader of 17 parties. As is known, he has been making regional visits, but in Gyumri, a group of people blocked the road, trying to prevent his entry into the region.

This led to Vazgen Manukyan's infamous remark that they were 'bums', which sparked a wave of criticism. Previously, roads had also been blocked in Syunik in front of members of the Prosperous Armenia Party to obstruct their entry into the region.

Moreover, according to our sources, in Ijevan, the birthplace of Nikol Pashinyan, there is a combative mood regarding this issue, and they have even created a group in the virtual space where heated discussions are taking place, with the intention of creating obstacles for the united candidate of the opposition.

However, the situation is noteworthy and somewhat amusing since representatives from the 'Motherland Salvation Movement' informed 'Zhoghovurd' that currently, Vazgen Manukyan's and opposition parties' regional visits have been suspended. It remains unclear what the ruling forces are planning and why.
