The World Needs Iran's Gas and Oil: Hassan Rouhani

The world needs Iran's gas and oil. The Islamic Republic can become a regional hub for gas and electricity production. This statement was made by Iranian President Hassan Rouhani, as reported by Tasnim news agency.

Rouhani spoke during a videoconference marking the official opening of a massive gas processing plant in the country. He announced that the Islamic Republic has the capacity to produce 1 billion cubic meters of gas daily.

According to the President, Iran is the country with the largest gas reserves in the world, estimated at 32 trillion cubic meters.
