The Work Done Inspires Hope That Our Captives' Lives and Health Are Not in Danger: Felix Tsolakyan

The former Minister of Emergency Situations of Armenia, Felix Tsolakyan, has posted on his Facebook page, indicating that he has been receiving numerous alerts from the Shirak region regarding the lists of captives, their conditions, and the safe return of these individuals to Armenia.

“I want to inform our compatriots that this morning, I had a private conversation regarding the issues related to the captives, as well as several questions concerning Armenia's security, with Sergey Kopirkin, the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Armenia. The ambassador provided details about the ongoing efforts to ensure the safe return of the captives, assuring that the leadership of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs are genuinely concerned with the issue of our compatriots' safe return.

Right after the meeting with the ambassador, I had a telephone conversation with the Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia, Tigran Avinyan, who also provided clarifications on the efforts being undertaken in this regard and assured that everything is being done to ensure the safe return of the captives to their homeland. The work that has been done and is ongoing inspires hope that our captives' lives and health are not in danger. We eagerly await the return of our compatriots who are held captive in Azerbaijan.
