New Leader Appointed for Artsakh Diocese
On January 21, by the directive of His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, His Eminence Bishop Vrtanes Abrahamyan has been appointed as the new leader of the Artsakh Diocese, relieving him from his position as the spiritual leader of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia.
The acting spiritual leader of the Armed Forces has been appointed to be the Honorable Father Yenovk Isaakyan.
