Kyrgyzstan Government Resigns

The Kyrgyzstan government, led by Sadyr Japarov, has resigned following the results of early presidential elections in the country. This was reported by the press service of the acting president of the republic.

“The acting president of the Kyrgyz Republic, Speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh (parliament), Taalant Mamytov, has signed a decree on the termination of the powers of the Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic and the government of the Kyrgyz Republic,” the statement said.
