Azerbaijan Exhibits Provable Signs of Fascism: Prime Minister Pashinyan

The recent publication of a controversial stamp, which 'cleanses' Nagorno-Karabakh of its Armenian population, is deemed unacceptable by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. During a Q&A session in the National Assembly, he pointed out that Azerbaijani leadership has been frequently speaking about Armenian fascism lately. He emphasized that we see provable signs of fascism in Azerbaijan.

“Such a stamp was seen once in Fascist Germany. That fact is telling,” said the head of the executive.

The Prime Minister does not believe that only the government has a role to play in managing this situation. He stated that the parliament and parliamentary diplomacy also have responsibilities. According to Pashinyan, this stamp should be prominently displayed in international circles.

“Azerbaijan needs to determine which path it is on. We also need to figure out what path we are taking,” the Prime Minister said.
