Following the publication of information regarding Ararat Mirzoyan being an agent of the NSS, political insiders are discussing that Mikayel Minasian is ‘sabotaging’ the probable ‘successor’ of Pashinyan, and Mirzoyan’s appointment as Prime Minister is now plausible to rule out. Moreover, the public’s attention is drawn to the thickness of Minasian’s dossier, hinting that others are in line.

The goal is to appoint Edmon Marukyan as the transitional Prime Minister, who, in a year, during elections, will transfer power to Minasian. By the way, My Step representatives do not hide that they fear this scenario.

Yesterday, when Marukyan stated in his speech that Nikol Pashinyan should resign, Hovik Aghazaryan shouted from the floor: 'Yes, he will, but you must promise that you will not nominate your candidacy for Prime Minister.'

In a conversation with us, My Step MP Armen Khachatryan urged to not take Mirzoyan’s purported letter of willingness to cooperate with the NSS seriously: 'This is an ongoing smear campaign. The NSS closed the matter by denying the statement.'

But was it possible to conduct a handwriting examination within 10 minutes? 'I do not know whether it was done or not. I trust the information provided by the NSS, as it is official and not a statement from any political figure.'
