82mm Mortar Shell Discovered in Yard Near Vanadzor Infectious Diseases Hospital

Today, June 6, an extraordinary incident occurred in the Lori region. At around 12:10, the Lori regional rescue service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations received a report about an explosive device found in the yard of a house near the Infectious Diseases Hospital in Vanadzor.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, an 82mm mortar shell, which was in a corroded condition, was discovered. The bomb disposal team safely transported the shell to a secure area.
