Numerous Rescuers, Police, and NSS Employees Arrive at Zvartnots Airport

Late at night on May 28, an unknown citizen reported to the Emergency Situations Ministry’s Rescue Service 911 and the operational management centers of the police in Yerevan, indicating that a bomb had been placed at the airport.

According to Shamshyan.com, a large number of rescuers, police officers, and NSS employees arrived at Zvartnots Airport at that very moment. Several emergency medical teams from Yerevan also arrived, as well as bomb disposal experts and canine units.

The Road Police’s 1st Officer Battalion and special squad members are also present on-site, carrying out enhanced operations.
