Video: Subutex Pills Found During Search of 39-Year-Old Man

Officers from the Criminal Investigation Division of the Yerevan Police, acting on operational information regarding illicit drug trafficking, detained a 39-year-old man from Hrazdan in collaboration with the Kanaker-Zeytun criminal investigators on January 23. During a personal search, three complete Subutex pills marked "B8" and a fragment were discovered. The detained individual also had a knife and a syringe in his possession. He was arrested, and the seized items were confiscated. Investigations are underway.

Following this, surveillance operations intensified. Within two days, police identified a suspect who had been selling Subutex to the detained individual. This 46-year-old man from Yerevan was also located, brought in for questioning, and subsequently arrested.

As part of the initiated criminal case, the police searched the suspect's vehicle, uncovering various weights of substances resembling methamphetamine and used syringes, which were also sent for examination.

The next day, on January 26, the 46-year-old man was formally charged and taken into custody at a correctional facility. The preliminary investigation of the criminal case continues.
