Earthquake in Turkey: 20 Dead and Over 1000 Injured

A earthquake with a magnitude of 6.8 struck Turkey last night at 20:55 local time (21:55 Yerevan time). Hundreds of rescue teams from 28 provinces of Turkey are working in the disaster area.

In total, 1689 tents, 1656 beds, and 9200 blankets have been dispatched to the affected regions. The earthquake, recorded in the eastern provinces of Elazig and Malatya, has resulted in 20 fatalities, with over 1000 people suffering varying degrees of injuries, according to Anadolu Agency.
