VIDEO: Individuals Bearing 'Criminal Subculture' Taken into Custody

In the context of combating behaviors that spawn crime, the main department of the Criminal Police, along with the regional department of Aragatsotn Province and subordinate units, conducted a special operation in the Aragatsotn region on January 16.

Based on operational intelligence, individuals associated with what is described as the 'criminal subculture' were taken into custody by the police departments of Ashtarak, Talin, Aparan, and Aragats.

Personal searches and vehicle inspections were carried out. Weapons, knives, clubs, and substances resembling narcotics were discovered and confiscated. Expert examinations have been ordered.

During the special operation, there was also a report of the voluntary surrender of a drum magazine pistol, automatic weapon magazines, and various calibers of ammunition.

Police activities aimed at ensuring public safety are ongoing daily. Individuals associated with the criminal subculture will continually remain in the operational focus of the police for the sake of public safety.
