VIDEO: 24-Year-Old Villager Stabbed During Brawl on the Road to 'Dendropark'

On January 2, shortly before dawn, the Stepanavan Police Department received a report from a hospital that a 24-year-old resident of the village of Gyulagarak had been admitted with stab wounds.

According to police, the injury was severe. A criminal case was initiated in the territorial investigation department, during which Stepanavan police, in cooperation with the employees of the Lori regional administration, undertook various investigative measures, leading to the following findings.

It was established that on the night of January 2, a group of individuals from the village of Gyulagarak agreed to meet at the end of the village on the road leading to 'Dendropark' to clarify personal matters. During the ensuing argument, they pushed and struck each other, and one of the participants used a sharp object to stab the young man who was later transported to the hospital, inflicting severe bodily harm.

Operational-search measures continued to identify the individual suspected of carrying out the stabbing. As a result of persistent efforts, investigators from the Stepanavan police detained a 30-year-old man from the village of Gyulagarak on January 15. He was presented at the police station for the investigative department and was arrested. The preliminary investigation of the criminal case is ongoing.
