Video: Girls Extorted 1 Million Drams from Young Man

The internal security department of the police received operational information that two girls in Yerevan had extorted a young man from November of last year to January of this year, threatening to reveal information about his personal life, and had demanded and received a total of 1,000,000 drams in installments. This was reported by the Police.

Based on the information, comprehensive operational investigative measures were undertaken by the internal security department, forensic department, criminal investigation department of Yerevan, and the Nor Nork division. On January 10, after receiving money from the young man again, a 26-year-old girl was detained by the Nor Nork police. During her personal search, the extorted amount of 50,000 drams was found.

On the same day, the other girl, aged 21, was also located and taken to the police station. They were arrested. A criminal case has been initiated at the Nor Nork police station on the grounds of extortion, and it has been transferred to the territorial investigative department. The circumstances of the case are currently being investigated.
