Video: Police Report on Stabbing Incident Involving Four Young Individuals in Gyumri
On January 4, around 10:30 PM, the Shiraz Medical Center reported to the Kumayri division of the police that two brothers from Gyumri, one of whom is a minor, had been transported to their facility with stab wounds to the chest. The investigative body immediately took urgent measures toward uncovering the incident.
Just hours after the report, criminal investigators discovered that during an altercation on Lisyanyan Street in Gyumri, a 45-year-old resident of the same street had inflicted bodily harm on the victims using a kitchen knife.
At around 1:00 AM on January 5, the suspect was taken to the Kumayri division of the police and confessed to the crime. According to him, the older of the two brothers had stabbed his sons, so he sought revenge.
Later, police also transported the sons of the detained man to the hospital with stab wounds from the same address. A forensic examination has been ordered, and measures are underway to clarify all circumstances of the case. The pre-investigation of the criminal case is ongoing.
