VIDEO. Broken Windows, Doors, Trash: Footage from the Occupied Building of the Abkhaz President's Office

As previously reported, participants in a protest in Sukhum, the capital of Abkhazia, have occupied the building of the Abkhaz President's office. The assault began at 13:00 local time from the square in front of the office building.

The doors of the building were smashed, removed from their hinges, and taken away. Footage has emerged online showing the actions of the protesters after seizing the building. The protesters broke the windows, doors, and threw computers on the ground; the building is completely littered with trash.

Authorities in Abkhazia have yet to comment on the disturbances that took place in the city center.
