Video: Explosion in a House in the City of Gavar Leaves One Injured

On January 8, at 13:58, the emergency services received information regarding an explosion and structural collapse in one of the houses on August 23 Street in the city of Gavar, Gegharkunik Province. There is at least one injured person.

A firefighting unit and an operational group were dispatched to the scene from the Ministry of Emergency Situations' regional rescue department.

It was determined that an explosion occurred in a house on Sayadyan Street (owner: Paphin M.), which resulted in the collapse of approximately 8 square meters of kitchen wall, damaging windows and the door.

Before the rescuers arrived, Araik M. (born in 1973) was hospitalized at the Gavar Medical Center, where doctors assessed his condition as seriously stable.

The rescuers cut off the electricity to the house and cordoned off the area.
