Car Falls into Canal on Yerevan-Yeraskh Highway, Injuries Reported

On October 31, at 14:26, the "911" service received information that an accident occurred on the Yerevan-Yeraskh highway, in the village of Marmarashen, with reported injuries and a gas leak, necessitating rescue assistance.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, a fire and rescue squad from the regional rescue department was dispatched to the scene.

It was found that a "VAZ-21015" vehicle (driver: Garush F., born in 1970) had veered off the road near the 12th kilometer of the Yerevan-Yeraskh highway and overturned into a nearby canal. Before the rescuers arrived, Garush F. was hospitalized at the "Erebuni Medical Center," and passenger Gevorg H. (born in 1978) was hospitalized at the Masis Medical Center, where he received first aid before being transferred to "Erebuni Medical Center."
