10 Liters of Homemade Alcohol Discovered in Prison Cell of Hrazdan Correctional Facility
On October 30, around 5:30 PM, staff members of the Hrazdan Correctional Facility of the Ministry of Justice of Armenia discovered a range of contraband items during an unplanned search in one of the cells. Among the findings were a mobile phone, four wireless earbuds, a homemade device, and a bag secured with a rope used by incarcerated individuals for transferring items.
Moreover, authorities seized 10 liters of homemade alcoholic beverage, along with a separate bag containing nine packs. Of these, two contained a total of 29 tablets, suspected to be narcotic substances, either whole or broken, while the remaining seven contained approximately 50 cannabis-like seeds.
The Public Relations Department of the penitentiary service reports that materials regarding this incident are being prepared, and a forensic chemical examination has been appointed.
