Law Enforcement Identifies Individuals Responsible for Damaging MP Kristine Poghosyan's Car
Law enforcement authorities detained two individuals on October 29, who are residents of Yerevan: 39-year-old Erik Yesayan and 30-year-old Harutyun Muradyan. According to Shamshyan.com, they were detained from the Malatia-Sebastia administrative district on suspicion of theft. Harutyun Muradyan admitted at the police station that on October 22, he broke the side window of MP Kristine Poghosyan's car parked on Demirchyan Street near the National Assembly and stole the MP's bag from the vehicle.
Materials are being prepared at the Arabkir police department regarding the incident. Harutyun Muradyan and Erik Yesayan have been released.
Earlier, it was reported that on October 22, another incident of pursuit occurred concerning MP Kristine Poghosyan. Poghosyan, a member of the My Step alliance, had parked her Mini Cooper with license plate 018 HH 11 on Demirchyan Street next to the National Assembly building in a permitted area. After leaving the National Assembly for some time, she found her car had been damaged.
An unidentified individual or individuals had broken the windows of the MP's vehicle and fled the scene. It is noteworthy that this is not the first time the MP's car has been subjected to such damage.
