Evacuation of People from Hyatt Place Hotel After Bomb Threat
After a bomb threat at the Hyatt Place Yerevan hotel, an evacuation of people has been carried out from the building. As of 12:21, a canine unit and police are conducting a search of the area.
On October 29, at 11:20 AM, the emergency services received a call reporting that an explosive device had been placed in the building located at 26/1 Vazgen Sargsyan Street, Yerevan.
A firefighting team from the Yerevan Rescue Department, part of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, as well as a response group from the National Center for Crisis Management, a duty physician from the Disaster Medicine Center, a psychological advisor from the Department of Psychological Support, a canine unit from the Special Rescue Operations Center, and an engineering and rescue unit from the Civil Defense Administration have all been dispatched to the scene.
