Driver Hits Pedestrian with KamAZ on Her Birthday, Victim Dies on the Spot

A fatal traffic incident occurred today in Yerevan. Around 09:00, a KamAZ truck, license plate 675 AF 61, driven by 33-year-old Gurgen Avanesyan, struck a pedestrian on Arin Berd Street. This has been reported by Shamshyan.com.

According to the media outlet, the police and the investigative department are trying to establish the identity of the deceased, who is a middle-aged woman. A team of paramedics from Yerevan's emergency services also arrived at the scene to assist the victim's relatives, as they were experiencing distressing feelings. Those present at the scene stated that today was the deceased's birthday, and just two days ago, she had welcomed a grandchild.
