Two Found Dead Among Family Members in Abovyan, Two Injured

On February 11, a brutal and tragic incident occurred in the Kotayk region. At approximately 20:20, the police department of Kotayk received a call from the Abovyan Medical Center that emergency medical teams had transported four citizens—two deceased and two unconscious.

According to shamshyan.com, the deceased individuals were identified as Emma Balayan and Greta Titanian, residents of apartment 15 in building 2/2 on Sevan Street in Abovyan. The injured individuals are Misha Balayan and Lusine Balayan.

These individuals were taken to the hospital showing symptoms of poisoning due to carbon monoxide exposure. Currently, investigators and forensic experts are working at the apartment.

A criminal case has been initiated in the Kotayk investigative division regarding this incident. Based on the investigator's decision, several forensic examinations have been appointed, including a forensic autopsy.
