Arsen Torosyan on Ambulance Accident

Minister of Health Arsen Torosyan has posted on Facebook.

Just a moment ago, I learned about another accident involving an ambulance in Yerevan. Serious conclusions will be drawn regarding the organization of the Yerevan ambulance service upon return, despite the fact that it is under the jurisdiction of the Yerevan City Hall, not the Ministry of Health. This is already the second such incident in the past month, which is simply unacceptable.

I wish a swift recovery to the injured. I urge the leadership of the ambulance service to ensure strict compliance with all traffic rules by ambulance drivers, including the mandatory use of SIREN and LIGHT signals to gain priority over other road users. I also call on other drivers to always yield to ambulances.
