Robbery in Yerevan: Large Sum of Money Stolen from 39th Branch of Haypost

A robbery occurred moments ago in Yerevan. According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan at the scene, a young man entered the 39th branch of Haypost located at 7 Artashisyan Street in the Shengavit administrative district and stole a large sum of money from an employee.

As reported by the photographer, the operational group of the Shengavit police department, led by Chief Hrach Khostekyan, has arrived at the scene. Investigators from the Shengavit investigative division of the Armenian Investigative Committee are also present.

Currently, police and investigators are determining the amount of money stolen from Haypost. A criminal case has been initiated in the Shengavit investigative division regarding the characteristics of robbery. Officers from the criminal investigation department of the Yerevan police have also arrived at the scene, led by Colonel Garik Ghukasyan and Department Head Karen Buniatyan. According to preliminary information, there are no casualties or injuries resulting from the robbery.

Moments ago, forensic experts from the forensic examination department of the police also arrived to conduct an examination of the scene.
