CCTV Records Location of Tsarukyan's Son During Restaurant Murder
As reported by photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, in connection with the high-profile murder case that occurred in Kotayk Province on January 29, various individuals who had connections on the day of the incident, including phone calls, all injured parties, the deceased, and suspects, were summoned by the police and investigative departments. They provided explanations both to the police and investigators regarding their whereabouts on that day and during the incident.
Among the more than twenty summoned was Nver Tsarukyan, son of National Assembly member and President of the Armenian Olympic Committee Gagik Tsarukyan.
In particular, in the main investigative department for crucial cases, N. Tsarukyan disclosed where he was on the day of the incident and during the occurrence.
According to the photojournalist's information, N. Tsarukyan was in Tsakhkadzor with his vehicle. Law enforcement officials visited Tsakhkadzor to verify N. Tsarukyan's information and checked the cameras at the location he specified, where it was recorded that his statements were consistent with reality. The cameras captured his entrance and exit from the specified location, after which reports that N. Tsarukyan had been at the "Partez" restaurant complex owned by Shushi Meloy during the incident were disproved.
