The Deputy Head of the State Revenue Committee Places Relatives in the System: Son-in-law, Brother-in-law, and Uncle

The newspaper "Zhamanak" reports: "Rafik Mashadyan, the deputy head of the State Revenue Committee (SRC), who embodies the corrupt era of the Republican Party of Armenia, is considered the successor of former SRC president Gagik Khachatryan. Over the years, he has placed his entire family in the system.

In particular, he has brought in his daughter's husband, Gor Mkrtchyan, to work in the large taxpayers' inspection. Within just a few months, he has promoted his brother-in-law, Gor Aleksanyan, to deputy head of the department. Regular employees of the SRC usually take decades to reach such positions. However, Mashadyan has not been limited to just that. His son-in-law's sister also works in the Arabkir tax office. Additionally, Hambardzumyan from the Sanik family is also in the large taxpayers' inspection. His uncle, Hrachik Goginyan, is the head of the 'highly profitable' division against smuggling in Syunik.

Interestingly, the recent layoffs at the SRC, where over 120 employees were dismissed, surprisingly did not affect these aforementioned individuals. They remain untouchable."
