One Arrested in Connection with Gunfire Near 'Partes' Restaurant: Investigative Committee

One person has been arrested in connection with the armed incident that occurred near the 'Partes' restaurant complex in Abovyan city. This was reported by Sona Truzyan, advisor to the chairman of the Investigation Committee of Armenia.

As previously reported, at around 1:30 AM on January 29, emergency services received a call regarding several young people who had sustained gunshot wounds and were being transported to the 'Abovyan' Medical Center, one of whom was found to be deceased.

As a result of the gunfire, Artaşes Gevorgyan, a 1989-born resident of Abovyan, suffered life-threatening injuries, while another seven individuals sustained varying degrees of injuries.

A search of the crime scene was conducted, during which various caliber cartridges were discovered.
