Major Car Accident: Mercedes Sprinter Collides with Stray Dog, Rolls Over

A major car accident occurred in the Kotayk region. Yesterday, around 21:40, 42-year-old Manvel Sedrakyan, a resident of Yerevan, was driving a Mercedes Sprinter with license plate 17 FG 007 on the 16th kilometer of the Yerevan-Sevan highway, heading towards Yerevan, when he veered into the opposite traffic lane, crossed the divider, and ended up overturned in the middle of the road.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, preliminary reports indicate that fortunately, there were no casualties or injuries resulting from the accident.

Officers from the 1st platoon of the 3rd company of the 2nd traffic police battalion, Tigran Buniatyan and Arsen Asatryan, arrived at the scene.

The photojournalist reports that the cause of the accident was a stray dog that appeared in front of the driver. The vehicle collided with the dog, which resulted in the dog's death, and the driver lost control of the vehicle, leading to the rollover.

The driver has notified his insurance company about the accident.
