Dense Fog on Vayk Roadways

The Ministry of Transport, Communication and Information Technologies of Armenia reports that as of January 29 at 20:00, dense fog is present on the roadways of the Vayk region, reducing visibility to 15-20 meters.

Fog is also affecting the roads near Goris, where visibility is reduced to 70-80 meters.

The Vardenyac mountain pass is closed to heavy and trailer vehicles.

Road construction teams are working on clearing and treating the roads with salt and sand.

Other interstate and regional highways in Armenia remain open.
