Closed and Impassable Roads

The Ministry of Emergency Situations informs that as of January 29 at 21:00, there are impassable roads in the territory of the Republic of Armenia.

The Sothk-Karvachar road, the Vardenyats Pass, and all community roads in Shirak Province are impassable. There are icy spots on the roads of Ashotik and Amasia regions in Shirak Province. In the Dilijan bends, the cities of Goris and Sisian in Syunik Province, and in the area known as 'Meghru Hill,' there are precipitation in the form of snow. Drivers are advised to travel exclusively with winter tires.

According to information from the Road Department of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia regarding Lars, the Stepantsminda-Lars road is open for passenger cars and closed for freight vehicles.

According to information received from the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation in the Republic of North Ossetia, there are 125 freight vehicles and 49 passenger cars accumulated on the Russian side.
